Christine De Ridder

Christine obtained her law degree at the KU Brussels and KU Leuven and is a member of the Dutch-speaking Bar of Brussels. She further specialized with a Postgraduate in Corporate Law and a Master in Business Law.
She primarily focuses on civil law and business law matters, and is specialized in insolvency and restructuring law, collection procedures and companies in distress.
Christine is regularly appointed by the Dutch-speaking Commercial Court in Brussels as the trustee in bankruptcies and the liquidator of companies. Her experience as an insolvency specialist gives her a privileged position to understand where things can go wrong and how entrepreneurs, creditors, banks, and others can prevent or handle such situations.
She is also a recognized mediator in civil and commercial matters as well as in social matters. Through this experience, she strives for a balanced resolution to disputes.
In addition, she frequently serves as a substitute Judge at the court in Zaventem.
Christine is fluent in both Dutch and French and also practices in English.
