Miles Legal won the UIA/LexisNexis Inspiration LegalTech 2024 international award.

The award encourages innovation in the legal field and rewards organisations or individuals who contribute new ideas to the legal world, changing the outlook, practice or working methods of lawyers.

We have created an application to help lawyers comply with their legal obligations to prevent money laundering. It guides users through the complex procedures of identifying people [Know you customers - KYT] and the transactions in which they are involved [Know your transactions - KYT].

With this innovation, we wanted to demonstrate that lawyers are perfectly capable of developing an effective prevention system that respects their professional values, at a time when this ability is being called into question by European and international regulators.
